That aside yes grooved tyres were all about less grip slowing the cars down through corners!

I remember they went back to full slicks ages ago. Are they no longer worried about corner speeds, or have other changes been made to compensate.

I remember Nigel Mansell winning the WC then going to the America for the Indy car thingy. He won that too!!

80’s F1 gave me the bug. The black jps car I think was my favourite

I was like that twenty to thirty years ago. A total obsessive. I would even follow the tyre testing sessions.

Never been a fan of F1 tbh used to go to a lot of motor cycle racing in the UK

Was a member of the classic racing motor cycle club back in the day was going to race in it at one time got the competion licence and bike but that was as far as it went

I can see Verstappen leaving too. RB not doing too good....he likes to be competitive...he not been happy in F1 for a couple years now...

And is looking really happy in GT3

As soon as each driver has completed half the laps, he turns round and drives in the opposite direction.
