dangermouse there are already 2 nnn markers i cant add a third and the are 10 faults f2 already . When a new f2 is added will it look the same ? I don't want to do a d96 factory reset to clear the codes there should be a short cut to clear the old codes.

in that case I'd turn the gas off, put a demand on the boiler and when it fails to light it will say f28. Use this f28 as a reference marker. Then turn gas back on.
