Fabric stool - cleaning - removing watermark

Hello all, I have a little fabric stool in my hallway. I tried to clean a mark on the fabric whilst the mark has gone I am left with a horrible watermark.

I can I get this looking like new again?

I'd probably hire a upholstery cleaning machine ....they pump out a solution and Suck it back up.

Homebase used to hire them out ....
