Fair price to lay drain?

Hmmm. Not in the trade. Is this a fair price?

£600 all in to lay a drain extension (approx 2.5 metres) through tarmac

Seems a tad high to me...(?)

How deep do they have to dig and is it a gulley or a drain

Rainwater gully - water pooling outside house by low set airbrick.

Not deep - proposed link to existing inspection chamber....
