Fan assisted oven

Hi

I have an AEG fan assisted oven, the fan packed up a few weeks ago and I replaced it with a compatible part from Amazon.

Everything was fine but recently the fan occasionally stops part way through cooking, would there be a component telling the fan to stop?

If not its an intermittent fault with the fan I guess

No, the fan should run continuously while cooking.
Fan is defective, or one of the connections to it is loose/damaged.
