fan controller for kitchen fan

hi all
i was hoping someone could help me out with the wiring of the above. i have lost the diagram that tells me which wire goes where.
the poles on the unit are marked LF E LR L.
i can work out where the earth wire goes but not sure where the live and neutral wires should go??
can anyone help?

See wiring diagram F1 on page 3 for typical wiring for an xpelair fan.

You need to have the manufacturers instructions to know for sure, what make & model is it?

I would guess that it could be.

LF=Live to run Forward
LR=Live to run in Reverse
L=permanent Live supply from fuse

Don't know what happened to the neutral? Maybe if its just a switch for the live the neutral goes straight to the fan. can you check it out with a multimeter?
