Wanting to fit an extractor fan in bathroom which can be controlled by a dedicated switch. I found the attached solution on here but when I switch the isolator on the fan starts and totally ignores the pull switch. is there a flaw in the diagram.

Fans generally run for their set time when they are switched on for the first time.
The first time being every time the isolator is switched on.

How long have you waited for the timer to switch off?

No, the diagram is correct. If the fan starts as soon as the isolator is turned on, and the switch is definitely off - it could be the timer. Leave it with the isolator turned on, once the time is up, then you may find it stops.

That seems to make sense, will try leaving it running in the morning when I have a bit more time. Many thanks for the help, really appreciated.
