Fan Oven Problem

Its a Stoves 900 GTF double gas / fan assisted oven....

and the problem is the fan has stopped working....

Any ideas?

Pointers?

Service manuals anyone?

No service manuals except for manufactures engineers or agents.

Does it have a supply to it? If yes then you need a new fan. If you don't know how to find out then you need an engineer.

Hi,

Just writing to find out whether a solution had been found to the non working fan. We've just had a new 900EF S/S ELECTRIC BUILT IN DOUBLE OVEN put in and it all seems to work apart from the fan. Are there any restrictors in place for transportation? When I try to move the fan manually, it seems to move fine one way and not the other way which would suggest it should be working.

Anyway, any advice or reports welcome.

you say it's new?

Then get it fixed under guarantee.

Some times the fan will not come on until a pre set temperature. Have you used the oven?
As Prev. post if its new sort it on the warranty. I assume you have read the instructions.
Some peple do not & wont.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. We've got one of their guys coming out in a couple of weeks. We cooked a meal in it at a reasonable temperature with no luck so we'll have to see what the guy says.
