Best to bury it 6 foot under like this thread should be :rolleyes: .Just ask the farmer if in all the generations of his who`ve leased the land .there has ever been a need to chisel plough/ bust the hardpan ...and if so go under that depth . Keep going . O wise Countryfile watchers, and give us all a laugh :LOL: :LOL:
 
You will never recover from the farmer because you would have to prove that it is your pipe in the first place and that he has been negligent in cutting it. As a tenant he can hardly be negligent in damaging a pipe that he could not have been aware existed.
