does anyone know why the usual life of a father & son uplighter is about six months, or a year if you're lucky.
the father uplighter nearly always packs up - no matter which one you get. you assume the halogen bulb has gone. you replace it - nothing. this has been my experience several times. are the wretched things just badly made.
