faulty ideal isar 24he

Got a 3 year old isar he24. display not working (orange pcb) but pump is continuously running and that is all that is working.

Any ideas much appreciated

is connected and seems to be dry. But even if this is faulty shouldnt the heating or hot water still come on.Just pump running nothing else

These are not popular boilers with boiler repairers!

An Ideal or BG fixed price repair is often a good idea as PCBs are very expensive.

I can only repair boilers when I am in front of them!

display ok as i had a spare one but didnt work. Just thought if it was the pcb I wouldnt get power to pump,as usually boiler is dead.

In your first post you stated display wasn't working

display is not working as i replaced with spare one and it still didnt work.
Think pump is running to keep at 7 degrees. Just wanted to know if it is still possible to have a faulty pcb if pump is running.
Also complaints of water being too hot in the last week before it went off

Running the pump is only the first stage of responding to a call for heat.

There can be many different faults on the PCB after the pump.

Are you sure the small link PCB and connectors are OK behind the display board? Thats usually the first to fail after water has dripped from the AAV.
