Faulty T80xr shower

I have the above shower fed by 15mm pipe. It worked ok for the last couple of years until recently.
It seems that the water is absolutely scalding, if I turn it right down to about 3 or 4 it's acceptable but then the low pressure light comes on.
Not sure if I've heard a kettling type noise in there. I've checked the filter that's ok, the hose isn't twisted; and we don't have scaling.
I'm a Gas man and reallly need advice on if shower replacement is needed or any components are required.

I can see there's a heat exchanger of sorts and some sensors, like to know more.
