faulty transformer

ok so heres my problem ,iv replaced a normal hanging bayonet type fitting with a low voltage spotlight

its on when i put the fuse back in but wont turn off ,its turning to about half the brightness when on

any ideas plz

well i think so , im a chippy lol

i was just using the ceiling rose junction box and just adding the two white cables from the new low v transformer onto that

jusyt to prove your wiky sticky works ,i had a look round and realised i had indeed wired it wrong

thanks for taking time to answer this post , personally im glad iv found you all and hopefully as a carpenter/joiner for the last 25 years maybee i have something that i can offer this forum in return ty
