Faulty underfloor heating thermostat????????

have had the ufh now for some time but rarely use it.

Turned it on today but it did not heat up.

I have power the the Matt and thermostat. Resistance is fine on the Matt, thermostats which is a vitrex Fwc300 come on and performs all functions but when it is on manual mode the small symbol which indicates the heating is on does not come on.

Does this sound like a faulty thermostat to people?????

Test the temperature probe with a multimeter on the ohms range. Could be a faulty probe or the controller it's self.

Probes do fail, which is why they are meant to be fitted in the 12 or 16mm conduit supplied, allowing it to be replaced.

You will need the kΩ range
The probe should read 10kΩ - 16kΩ
