Mine is lard. For roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings you just can't beat it.

What is your favourite fat and why?

Me. I'm fat and it has cost me a fortune to get like it :D Mines another pint :LOL:

But lard doesn't either - you just have to make sure you eat lots of fruit and veg and exercise well.

Does it matter?!?! Grease is grease lad!

Sunflower, veg, lard, whatever, it does the same job.

Real butter. Toast isn't toast without huge mountains of butter on it.

Same goes for jacket potatoes: cheese, beans, and enough butter to drown it all in.

Even those packet pastas where you put in in a bowl and add boiling water (sometimes milk), I find that a good tablespoon of real butter helps it along a bit.

Cheese, butter and chicken curry. The butter goes in first, then the cheese and the hot curry on last to melt the lot :D
