Hi,

Just want to confirm the following.

I need installed two or three single sockets over a short length, Is it ok to daisy chain them from a 13A FCU which will be the first spur off the ring.

The feed to cooker (gas/elec oven), can that feed a hood aswell again via a 3a fcu.

The CU is fully rcd protected aswell, and finally what cable should I use, the socket will be suface mounted using mini-trunking as the run is small and in a inconspicuous area.

Many thanks

You need to ensure that the downstream sockets are connected to the load side of the FCU.
Remember you will be limited to 13A for these sockets. Use 2.5mm² twin and earth cable.

And (boringly) that any electrical work in a kitchen must be notified to the local authority before work starts.

See the lovely WIKI for full information.
