I am putting up a fence round my garden. The ground I am putting it on goes slightly down hill going from my house to the edge of the garden. Should I let the fence run with the ground or keep it horizontal on the top.

depends on how much the drop is and what you prefer. you can use extra gravel boards at the bottom or longer closebaord if you are using that. remeber that any fence shouldnt exceed 6'6" or you will need planning approval.

follow the ground level, i think it will look odd to see a perfectly same height fence all the way round
