Fence post in a paving slabs

Hi,
is it possible to put a 4x4 fence post in a paving slab thats been layed without lifting it up?

Yes.
Angle grind a 4" hole in the slab, then dig for hours with a spoon.

lifting and laying the flag would surley be easier than messing about with a grinder and post holers,or a spoon
