ferroli tempra ignition sparking all time

Hi any advise ferroli tempra boiler working this morning ,boiler ignition constantlety sparking even though pilot on, pump running fan running clock on constant room stat fine but no burner igniting just sparking all the time before call someone out any ideas. Ta Brian

Does not sound like a simple diy job, sounds like the valve is not opening.
Just make sure that you get a proper breakdown engineer, and not some fool who just changes parts at random until it works again.

well at risk of stating the blindingly obvious its not detecting the flame

might help if it was serviced

now and again

flame detection electrodes and leads for a start

not a diy job as stated

Boiler serviced bg 6 months ago not doing self just looking for pointers so dont get ripped off ta Bri

Getting some pointers from a forum won't prevent you from being ripped of if you get a cowboy in the door.
Best way by far is to ask anybody and everybody you know if they have the same chap that has been repairing faults on their heating system for years. I know we are a bit reserved here in England, but it is the only way.
