Hello,
So I am going to put down wooden flooring over a concrete subfloor.
I planned to use a DPM and then put the B&Q/Wicks green coloured fiberboard over it as a base for the wooden boards.

I have selcted this fiberboard as it seems to have good leveling properties and thermal insulation..

Is there anything better I could use?
Many thanks imk

What type of wooden floor are you putting down, are they by any chance random lengths?

Right, if too many short ones (say around 300mm long) then you should not use any underlayment but fully bond the floor to the concrete with flexible adhesive.

If your concrete floor is not that level, you'll have to sort that out first with a leveling compound (preferably NOT a latex)
