It's fairly clear that Labours Jobs tax and Employment rights changes have impacted hiring. They seem to forget that we often compete against employees in other countries.

You can join the army as a Junior Soldier at 16.

You can drive at 16 if you are claiming a certain level of PIP.

You can get married at 16 in Scotland without parental consent.

You can, at the age of 16 or 17 drink, but not buy, wine, beer or cider in a pub with a meal as long as you are with an adult.
