Fill holes in wall?

I need to fill a couple of holes in the wall where a coat rack used to be but need to be able to re-hang the coat rack in the same place.

What is the best product to fill the holes so I can re drill the holes and put in wall plugs and screws.

Why not just use a bigger plug and screw? or Fill the hole with 'no more nails' and insert a new plug, let the glue go off and then fix the coat hook.
