Filler surface prep before skim

Removed some plaster coving from the wall/ceiling which has some minor damage

What's the best filler to use to make good before skimming the ceiling?

Is something like easi filled okay to use for this?

Walls are being tiled so no bother there

As it's being skimmed I wouldn't bother, just use the skin to fill it in
