Hello, recently bought a tv mount. Measured out the holes levelled everything up but coming to my second hole. As I got past the plaster and to the brick my drill started to ‘wander’ causing my mount to be misaligned. I’ve relocated this mount twice now to try get this right. I have used a masonry bit with black and decker drill. Quite cheap but does most the work around the house. After reading some post people have suggested a SDS drill. I wanted to know what was the best way to fill the original holes so I can re-drill this properly with my SDS drill. I was thinking polyfiller but felt this will probably crumble when I come to drilling.
Im almost positive my walls are plaster then brick. I live in a pretty only terraced house if that helps
Please help

If you are only off by a little then drill a bigger hole and use resin and a stud which you can push in the correct position before it sets.

It would have made much more sense if he had fitted the studs loosley into the wooden post before he set them into the resin. This would have avoided any linear or angular misalignment preventing the post being fitted once the resin had set.

I didnt pay any attention to what he was doing I just was looking for something to explain what resin studs were to the OP.
