Filling in wood hole for hinge attachement

Hello, is there a way to 'fill in' this hole (please see picture) with a special glue or resin so that it will be sufficiently strong allowing for new holes to be drilled in, and two new cabinet door hinges attached?

You can use the plates suggested or car filler will renew the damage.
