I just installed a retractable washing line as it offers us more room than the rotary line and catches the wind and sun a bit better due to the placement.
Removing the rotary line was a bit of a surprise, as I just assumed it would be in the grass as it have a lot of lateral movement, instead an entire cement block came out with it with the plastic mounting ring stuck within it!
Other than the fact it was far too easy to remove the slab of concrete, what am I supposed to fill the massive hole with? Do I just buy "Top soil" and pad it down a bit at a time? Or even something like Miracle Grow? (As we need some anyway for our kids to plant their seeds for school work) Or is something more specialist needed? The hole is about 11inches wide and about 11inches deep at its deepest point.
Thank you
