filter for shower, can't find correct hose

This filter usually attaches straight to the wall outlet in the shower and then the shower head hose goes on the other end.
However, because of the width of the cartridge it cannot fit as it hist the wall.
It needs a male connector but all flexible hoses seem to be female/female.
Any ideas where I can get one?

Presumably it is 1/2" BSP.
Also presumably, you want a female swivel nut at one end and a male thread t'other.

Get a 15mm x 1/2" flexi hose, remove the compression nut and olive.
You will be left with a 1/2" male x 1/2" swivel female hose.

Does the male end in that case have a thread on it? Because the female part in the above picture has thread on the inside.

The first sentence made mention of 1/2" BSP. That is a thread size.

Did you not do biology at school?
Think about procreation. The male's bit goes inside the female's bit.
That's why threads are called male and female.

I just thought that if it was made as a female attachment then, the actual male part you are talking about inside it might not have threads as the threading would be on the inside of the nut.

The female part is 25mm across or 20mm on the inside. The plastic part in the pic is 20mm across.
So would these be 3/4 inch attachments?
Is the bore size then 13mm?

I'm begining to get the impression that the bore size is somewhere between 66 and 78 inches.
