Can I mix final circuits in an MK Grid system grid?

Example: I may have an MK Grid switch which I am using for the appliance isolators in a kitchen.

So I would think to have, on the kitchen ring main:

  • Waste disposal unit
    Dishwasher
Cooker hood (edited; was "Extractor fan")

and on its own separate 16A final circuit:

  • Fridge/Freezer

So for each appliance, I would have a 20A DP switch module and a 13A fuse module. (Though for the Fridge/freezer, I may not need the 13A fuse module as it would be a 16A circuit fed out via a 20A switch on 2.5mm² cable.)

But that would mean having two final circuits connecting to things within the same box.

Is that allowed?

Yes it is fine providing you attatch a durable warning label.

As you are using a grid switch, this label does not need to be on show. You can attatch it to the grid frame below the front plate.
