Hi, just a second opinion, I am looking to install a red strobe light for a disabled loo. The strobe is 24V, 100mA. If I put 2 (1N4003) diodes on the strobe tails for the EOLR monitoring, am I right in thinking it is OK to connect directly into the bell circuit? Either this or is it better to run a new cable from the alarm panel and run off the aux relay? Comments appreciated, Thanks.

some sounders contain strobes so i would guess you can out a strobe on bell circuit. not 100% sure how it would be connected tho

I have seen the ones with electronic sounders although the fire officer will probably want all the bells replaced if I were to use one of these.
