Fire resistance

Can anyone tell me the spec required to make an understairs cupboard 30 minutes fire resistant. To site an oil boiler by the way. Thanks

half inch plasterboard is half hour protection.i would use fibrelux.asbestos substitute.

that stuff has to be able to last 48 hours at the temperature of the surface of the sun, well thats what it bleedin well tastes like

So if I used fibrelux,how would I seal the joints in the corners and edges-I suppose I could use some of Corgimans missus' pastry.

you can buy fire resistant mastic.

its same thing. different retailers call it either dependant on supplier.or they think that is what it is called.
