Firefox and PDF

I now I realise made an error and asked for a PDF to be opened with Firefox rather than being saved.

Now click on a PDF and it auto starts a whole series of tabs and I can't find how to revert back to orignal setting. Even tried re-installing firefox.

It also seems to have a problem with PHP where again opens loads of tabs.

OK can use IE but colours far better with Firefox so would like to stay with it.

This might help, go down to PDF reader Plugin and see how you get on. hen you turn it on, this should overwrite the PDF viewer as the default.

In Firefox go to options, applications and scroll doen to pdf documents. Then using the drop down action box choose what you want Firefox to do when it finds a pdf document.....Simples.

PC went down big time and so the answer will never be known. I may fit hard drives into another PC but will not be able to find what was wrong.
