A couple of questions regarding fireline plasterboard..

which side is best for general decoration (lining paper/paint), pink or grey?

I've noticed that there are uniform 'tappered ridges' at each end of the boards (not just the usual tappering) - does this mean that it is expected to skim the board?

cheers

fire protective plasterboards require a skim coat as part of their defence against fire spread. pink side down.
