Hi All - I have boarded out my garage ceiling with fire-lined plasterboard, and boxed off the sewer downflow pipe (also now boarded with plasterboard).

A plasterer friend said I could tape the seams, put easyfill on them, and then paint (i.e., not skimming the whole thing). It does not need to be pretty, just presentable.

So two questions:
- How do I prep the firelined board for easyfill? Do I put a coat of PVA on?
- I have put metal corner beads on the boxing. Should I cover these beads with easyfill? Or will this not work and I should just leave the corner beads showing?

cheers

No prep required, just put it on, and feather out around 8 inches or so either side of the join and back from the angle bead, sand down when dried out.
