First time fitting kitchen - Any tips advise would help

Plinth/kickboard. What`s the best way to join 2 together when length is not enough to cover all units?

They come in 3 and 4 metre lengths.
How long is your kitchen???
Never came across this problem, so I can only guess.
I would join them with flat plates at the back and silicone in the joint to prevent water swelling.

kitchen is just about 3m+ and plinth are 2.75m. i will get a flat plate on the back and join them then

I put end panels in between each double cabinet, so could use shorter lengths of plinth which was more economical for the ones I had.

yes you need additional end panels but I think it looks a better effect.
