It'll probably vary region to region but how would a joiner charge in the Midlands, not including architraves, materials all supplied

Thanks Ian, I've been asked to do them by a friend who's doing a bit of decorating at the property, he approached me and said if you want the job it's yours, doors and linings £65 each, told him that's too cheap but at the time I couldn't put a price on it but having thought about it more I'd want 100 each and just put the question out there and you've confirmed my thoughts, he's the type that'll try and make a bit of extra out of it for himself, wouldn't surprise me one bit if he'd quoted 600

I read on here that people charge £50 to hang a door so just doubled that (y)

When I was out, my wife got a quote to hang two doors in an existing lining and was told it would take 2 days. Luckily she didn't even ask for a price...

£65 seems reasonable 2-3 days work , so at worst £130 a day [or were you planning on the tax man having any?]

    £200 a day sounds better
