Fitting a lintel

Hi

I’ve already got one lintel in (see pic). But on the inner wall (picture is from garage looking into the house) there seems to be some unusual bricks. At least, not ones I'm used to. Would I need to do anything different with the lintel in this case? Not looking forward to lining them up!

Also, picture is bendy rather than the opening itself. Was a wide angle shot so makes it look like it’s not straight.

Does that look like urea foam cavity insulation?
