Fitting a MagnaClean

OK, so I have bought myself a Magnaclean Twintech, and am intending to fit it to my boiler return.

I was holding it up to the pipework earlier, to see best place to fit it, and it struck me as being quite a weighty lump to hang off 2 pipe connections.

Do people generally give them any additional support, or just leave the weight on the pipes ?

Thoughts & other tips welcome !

personally i always put clips as close to it as poss! (both sides)Its not that heavy really but when you put a bit of pressure on the top to empty it you may dislodge sthg!
