I have just bought a new light fitting for bedroom, replacing old ceiling rose.

I have 2 black wires, 4 red wires (one is black with red cover) and one yellow/green wire.

The new light only has connection 3 terminals, earth, live and neutral.

Can anyone tell me which wires to connect up ?

put the cables into a 4 connector block rated at 10 amps, put the blacks into one block, the reds into the next block, the earth into the next and then the black with red sleveing into the last one. connect your brown wire from the light into the same block as the black with red sleve, the blue in with the blacks and the earth in the block with the other earths
