Hi everyone,

I'm trying to replace my shower house and as I was trying to unscrew it I realised that I need some sort of male to male adaptor that comes out of the mixer tap and goes into the hose itself, here's some pictures from my tap and the shower hose I currently have, as you can see the adaptor is currently really rusty so I can't undo it hence why I need to figure out what I need to buy.

That fitting is part of the tap and not a standard part, you need to remove it from the hose to re-use. Unlikely to be rusty as they are made from brass, should clean up no problem.

Wrap a leather belt around it (to prevent scratching) and then use mole grips to hold it and a spanner to undo the nut.

Stick it in a vice (with protection) and use a proper spanner.
