fitting a washing machine

been having a wee bit of trouble with my washer leaking from the connector that scews on the back of the machine.

i bought some new pipes
disconnected old one's
screwed the new one on to back of washer.
the other end i screwed on the isolater under the sink and tighted it.
turn the switch to the normal way and water is squirting
from the back of the nut you tighten.
i have checked to make sure there was a seal and there is.
so i am not sure what to do now
is it worth renewing the isolater itself so its all new

There should be a fibre washer on the connector, both ends.

Are you over tightening them & destroying the rubber seals? Alternatively do you have a build up of limescale which is damageing them when you screw up the connector?

Are you making sure the hose is square to the lock ring

They can lean slightly one way when tightening them up which prevents the lockring fully tightening on the seal

This normally leads to water leaking out of where the pipe fits into the lock ring.
