Hi All,

we have removed a single radiator from the lounge and replaced with a double radiator, When I drill new fresh holes and place some heavy duty rawplugs in I find that some of the rawplugs are not taking they keep spinning and don't tighten, it appears as if the brick crumbles as you tighten the screw.

Any idea's on how to stop this?

i thought about drill a bigger hole filling with cement or other filler and then redrilling once set would this work??? :?:

Or is there any adhesive I can put on the rawplug to that would take to brick??

I have filled the hole with 'no more nails' before and then inserted the plug, leave to dry. Hasn't failed yet. Make sure you remove the dust from the hole first ;)

try plugging the hole with a bit of dowling or wood which fits the hole, make it quite tight so you have to hammer the wood in, then screw the bracet on it should be ok,
