Stopcock under kitchen sink siezed solid and virtually inaccessable... :( .....no idea whatsoever where outside stopcock located. Is there any way of fitting a new stopcock without somehow shutting off the mains? :?:

freeze the pipes,(freezing kit) but so i read you have to be quick

if it is stuck try using oil, squirt it down the threads of the tap leave a few hours and try turning it with grips but don't over do it. if that does not work get a blow torch and heat it up and try turning it

Did U try the freezing kit? Didi it work I have a similar problem. Bought a freezing kit from Wicks don't know if will work!!
