I am fitting solid oak skirting to majority dot and dab plasterboard walls, i was just wondering what would be the best method. I have a plug maker so i was thinking i could use that but would they still be visible (unsightly) after i have oiled them. I was also considering using jut gripfill so no holes were needed.

All opinions/help greatly appreciated

Thanks

You could use a combination of adhesive and screws, if the wall are nice and straight foam adhesive gives a quick result as it goes of in 20 mins. Unlikely to notice the odd plug if sanded and oiled .

Gripfill or equivalent is usually fine. But whatever you do make sure you use wood glue on all the mitres, or shrinkage will open them up.
