Hi , i wish to fit a programmer in my house away from the boiler which is in the garage.

How hard is this ?

Thanks Franny B

Dead easy. You need a radio version if you want to avoid running cables, such as by Danfoss. bes.ltd.uk do them.

HI FRANNY, YES YOU COULD FIT A WIRELESS PROGRAMMER BUT YOU WILL STILL NEED A COMPITENT PERSON TO WIRE THE UNIT INTO THE BOILER ITSELF INCLUDING A LIVE AND NEUTRAL.
EACH SITUATION IS DIFFERENT BUT IT MAY BE CHEAPER TO INSTALL A STANDARD WIRED PROGRAMMER BY RUNNING A FOUR CORE AND EARTH CABLE FROM THE BOILER TO YOUR CHOSEN LOCATION.
HAVE YOU GOT A SEPARATE ROOM STAT WIRED TO THE BOILER IF SO THERES NO NEED TO GO FOR A PROGRAMMABLE ROOM STAT AS THEY CAN BE CONFUSING TO OPERATE.
HOPE THIS HELPS.
NEAL.

Drill hole through wall of garage into house.
Run wired programmer/ wall thermostat between boiler and house.
What could be easier.

If you already have a wall thermostat . Simples just replace it with a programmable one.

How easy are the connections for the programmer at the boiler if I am hoping to fit an RF programmable thermostat?
