Hi all I am after a little bit of advice
I am very good at diy and have done lots of plumbing in my time.
I have purchased the surestop kit with the switch.
I have been round the elderly ladies today who I have to fit it for.
I take it you fit the surestop as close to the mains cold water feed before it reaches a tee junction and the pipe goes upstairs.
The problem is the stop cock pipe is right in the corner of the kitchen next to a kitchen cupboard, there is no play in the pipe so wont be able to get a pipe cutter on it, so will the only way I can do it be with a junior hacksaw.
Obviously no problem getting round the the 2 tubes and socket to inside the undersink cupboard.
Any help would be much appreciated if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Don't use hacksaw you can't deburr the pipe enough and sharp edges cut the o rings in the switch,
You need to turn the water off outside and take the pipework to bits inside to fit it,then turn water back on.
