Fitting timeswitch to combi boiler

Hello,

I bought a Ideal Isar combi boiler (i know, bad move), it has been working fine but it didnt come with a timeswitch to control the central heating.

Can i purchase any timeswitch to operate the boiler? If so which one would you recommend??

Would i need to buy a thermostat also??

Can i do this myself??

Yes. A thermostat is required by Building Regulations.

Why not buy a programmble thermostat instead of separate items?

The Honeywell CM900 range are very good.

Can i do this myself??

How experienced are you with electrics?

You can do all work in your own home yourself legally if you have the skills to do it safely, including gas and electric. It does have to be certified though.
