Can anyone Help?
I have fitted trv's to all of the rads in my house (11 rads) and i fitted an auto bypass valve between flow and return of boiler with a .2bar setting.
I had all the valves at the highest setting to bleed system. I turned on heating and all the rads heat up no probloms at all after venting everything. The only time i have a problom is when i turned the valves to setting 3. When some of the rads turn off because the room temp is satifised the circulation pump in boiler gets air locked. Its an open system and suspect its drawing in air through vent but not sure any ideas? Thanks.

Yes i have bleed the pump.
What has me puzzled is that everything works fine when all the trv's are set at the highest, for 3 days i had the heating on with no probs. Buts whats the point of having trv's when there set at the highest so i turned them down to setting 3 (19 to 21 degrees). It works fine for a few hours but then say 4 of the rads turn off because room temp is satisfied and then the pump gets airlocked.
