I have now got the hang of re-washering taps, and have even bought a bellows pot of silicone grease, but don't know what to do with this mixer. It has the flow knob on the front and the temp on the side. Three very large slotted screwheads on the top and one on the end. I remember from the instructions (now lost) that there is a gauze filter behind one of them.

I am guessing it will have "O" rings inside. Any tips on how it might come apart? I hope there will be a common design like a bar mixer

well, how do you do other sorts of bar shower?

Under the knob on the front it looks like an ordinary tap nut, so do I undo this and see what falls out?

Is it likely to have O-rings or some other mechanism?

thats what i would opt for removing the flow control knob, nothing with fall out. then see what type of valve we have under the knob.
