Ok so I admit I think I've gone about this the wrong way, but, I need to find a way around it without ripping the board back down.
I've started fixing up my wallboards, on timber frame garage.
The first 300mm or so is brickwork, and where I've fitted the soleplate flush to the outside makes the bricks slightly further back than the studs.
So because of these, the bottom of the boards are 'bouncy', probably by about 10mm and I don't think any fixing are going to hold.
Any suggestions on a way around it with taking them down again?
Obviously now I've found the problems the rest of the boards can go up with a batten fixed to the wall first?
Cheers
