Hi,
Not really a DIY man myself yet, hopefully in a few years, it's great fun building stuff. I bought a super cheap chest of drawers from Argos a year ago and the top drawer broke. I took the others out and ended up breaking them too. I'd like to know how to go about sorting it out. It looks simple enough but I have no idea. I'll attach photos so you can see what I'm dealing with. Thanks in advance.

Probably not really worth the effort mate but B&Q or whatever sell sets of runners.
Take your old ones along and match them if you can for size.
John :)

Yeah probably not, but the warrior inside doesn't want to be defeated by a glorified Argos 2x4! I'll head up, I've got a local one. Thank you.
Have I broken the runner then? Is the small element meant to be attached? I've lost the instructions so I can't remember how I built it.
Cheers

Not the toughest bit of metal, is it.....looks like it's been torn.
New runners will be much stronger, wheels on the side of the drawer will locate in runners on the cabinet.

you need to remove both halves off a full runner [half on the box and half on the carcase ]
and get the same and do not loose any fixings or screws:LOL:
